So Ricky Williams is elite but VC isn't? Please explain.

[/ QUOTE ]
What has vince ever done? Started for UNC? Won a dunk contest? Sports center highlights? Has he ever even been the best player on his team?

[/ QUOTE ]

Vince has averaged 24/5/4, 26 in the playoffs, and gone to the Finals.

Ricky has rushed for 1,000 yards 4 times.

Please explain how these two things are drastically different in any way, or how they prove that Ricky Williams is an elite talent.

Ricky won a [censored] heisman and ran the ball 1800+ NFL rushing title with the dolphins.

Vince has acquired all his notoriety for his huge dunks.
24ppg doesn't mean jack for a sg.
ZOMG he can jump really high doesn't mean talent.

I would say Shaq not a waste but if he had a half way decent work ethic he could have shot better FT and stayed lighter/healthier. Probably won twice as many titles.

The point of my argument wasn't really to pump up VC, but more to question why you'd define Ricky as an elite talent.

Whatever, I'm probably just a bitter Dolphins fan.

Can't believe no one has said this yet. Jose Canseco. Could have had 10 40-40 years if he tried.

This one's a bit of a stretch, but...

Rick Nash. The worst part is it's neither personal problems nor injuries wasting his talent. It's the completely inept Blue Jackets management. Watching last year's ASG and the WCs, it's unbelievable the difference between him playing with the BJs and actual good players. He's one of the best young, if not all-around, hockey players in the NHL, but he's stuck on one of the worst team in NHL history (yes I'm comfortable calling them that despite their only recent status).

I mean... you're right... but let's not use the [censored] Heisman trophy as evidence, mmmkay?

WTF was he supposed to do take them to the superbowl? They lost the 3 games he ran for over 200yds that season because their QBs couldn't turn the ball over less than 3-4 times a game.
