Re: Incident at Wynn
Player is a douche, needs to be removed from floor; dealer handled it fine, more than likely said thanks, but wasn't heard...

Re: Incident at Wynn
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] There is no way to "win" against abusive players, simply because it's a falsely-created binary situation. It's not about win/lose, it's about living peacefully with your neighbors, and those with personality disorders don't understand that. [/ QUOTE ] QFMFT [/ QUOTE ] There are 2 ways to win against abusive players. 1) Win all their money 2) Joe Pesci method I'll let you figure it out. |

Re: Incident at Wynn
[ QUOTE ]
I was wondering why they tap the chip before dropping it? Is it just a way of acknowleding the tip? [/ QUOTE ] This lets the floor know that the chip(s) the dealer is about to put in his pocket/personal drop box/cup is a tip and not taken from the pot or elsewhere. The dealer should thank the tipper then tap the chip before putting it where it goes. |

Re: Incident at Wynn
"sorry" would have been acceptable for the dealer. "sorry I thought I already thanked you" is okay too. If the player isn't spitting on, throwing cards at, urinating on, or otherwise doing something that is actually harmful to the dealer or the game then the player is right even if he's being a douche bag.

Re: Incident at Wynn
The player is obviously a miserable nit and is just looking for a fight.

enough with the bleading hearts for dealers--they make like 50$ an hour for like the easiest job in the world.

Re: dealer\'s fault
I always make sure the player hears, sees and/or understands I am thanking them.
That being said, if a player didn't hear and asked about it the answer is "yes sir, thanks again I appreciate it." Arguing = kick in the nuts. |
