Re: $100-$200 live hand, AQs
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] The turn raise is pretty bad, as is the rive call. The only thing you beat on the river is A4s, so it's probably a fold. [/ QUOTE ] dont be insane. the turn raise seems silly, but the river i definitely a call. 22 bets in the pot man. [/ QUOTE ] if we didnt have a flush draw we'd be out on the turn. Barron |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] (1) because he will check the river if the flush draw makes it [/ QUOTE ] just about never. [/ QUOTE ] Sir, please don't comment about hands played at a limit you have no familiarity with. No offense intended, but it might be misleading to the community. TSP [/ QUOTE ] a.) my 100/200 winrate is higher than that of anyone on this forum. b.) get over yourself. EDIT: you apparently play this limit and give terrible advice in this thread. merely playing/not playing a limit does not mean one is competent/incompetent. |

Flawless, look at the turn action. He knows Fianchetto isn't folding. I mean do you really think he has AJ, AQ, A4, or some other hand more than 4% of the time? I don't.... With that said, i always want to see showdown here which is why i call the turn and raise a river club or Q. [/ QUOTE ] i agree with all of this. |

B&M $100-$200 Okay player in MP open raises, Villain calls (solid player, also capable of trickery), 2 more late position callers, and I 3-bet on the button w/ A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], blinds fold, MP calls, now villain caps it, both LP players call, I call, MP calls. Capped 5-ways Flop: 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] MP checks, villain bets, one LP caller, I raise, MP folds, villain 3-bets, LP calls, I call. Turn: 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] villain bets, LP calls, I raise, villain 3-bets, LP folds, I call. River: 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Villain bets, I call. Comments? [/ QUOTE ] i just reread the OP and I hate the turn raise even more. if villain is capable of getting cute, why on earth are we letting him? just call his ass down. |

Re: $100-$200 live hand, AQs
Villian coldcall-capping is really [censored] with my handreading, and I"m not sure whether to give more weight to the coldcall or the cap because you see this almost never. The coldcall makes me think he has 99 a lot. The cap makes me not know wtf he has. When he 3bets us OOP on the flop though he's not kidding ever.

He had pocket aces.
The initial coldcall is what threw me off, but when he is not backing down postflop I need to reconsider. |

Re: $100-$200 live hand, AQs
I agree that he COULD be screwing around with a worse hand, for whatever reason, but probably not more than 4% chance here w/o a pretty definitive read. of course i could be wrong. situations like this, to me, are too nebulous to know for sure. No one really knows for certain if there is a 3% or a 7% chance, here. Just have to make your best guess, it seems.
