Holy crap the landscape has changed so much since I used to play STT's.

2 years ago 20% ROI at anything below the 33's was great but not anything amazing or outstanding. 22% was doable for many people, even though I wasn't one of them. Now I look at the FAQ and it says the 3.40's are beatable for 18%? What happened to estimates of like 30%? The games have changed a lot I guess, though I haven't touched a SNG seriously for at least a year now.

For low limits, it still seems that SNGs are pretty close to cash games still. the 22's still can be beaten by 14% it seems and 30 buyins would be a 660ish roll, which is about the same as nl25. At 5ptbb/100, which seems to be a decent winrate for a decent low stakes player on FT or stars, would mean $25 over 1k hands. That would be about 12-13 table hours for $25 dollars. 12-13 SNGS at 14% roi at the 22's would yield 38.5, more than 50% more. However I could be skewing the numbers to my favor, but it seems that before nl50-100, sngs might be the way to go.
