I thought emotional stability, detachment and non results orientated thinking were more or less a requirement to be a winner in HSNL. I mean, everyone's human but for the most part I thought HSNLers were thinking the right way >95% of the time. There are 2 things to winning in poker- having the ability to make the correct decision and actually making the correct decision. I suppose some people come up with the right answer more and some act on their correct decisions more.

2nd post is great too, interesting read, nice bump.

If you are tilted/making poor decisions 5% of the time at HSNL you are going to be losing a lot of money, IMO.

Edited to ask: [ QUOTE ]
It took me about one and a half years to be comfortable playing against any player in the world in a single table tourney. Maybe in a little over a year I’ll be able to say the same thing about cash games. Maybe it’ll be longer. Maybe it won’t happen.

Having been on HSP and in the biggest online games do u feel any different now?

To explain further, I'm not saying that you shouldn't call for 1/3 of your stack preflop with 55 praying to flop a set. We all know that.

What I'm saying that every time we miss a card or hit, or they c/r, we shouldnt care at all. It's all the same thing; Just something that happens that we have to respond to.

[/ QUOTE ]

I basically think that way since I play in games where I have 100+BI bankroll. Its the only way for me to acvheve that state.

Posts like these freaks me out, I mean isnt this standard ss reading?

Results doesnt matter decissions do

Edge times volume equals profit, expect a bumpy ride

Your opponents plays is the expression of how his mind percieves the situation, get his mind and you own him

etc etc

No offense, but man....then again I dont play these stakes-I`m only thrown off by the post from someone playing these stakes

EDIT: is there some irony here I`m not getting?

I agree with what your saying, but seriously people that actually think like that are probably robots, not humans.
