I think the Eagles are gonna beat Dallas this weekend, which is going to make the NFC East even more interesting (which is saying a lot). [/ QUOTE ] I have a sneaking suspicion that this is correct. also, not to be an ass, but i am going to rub this in your face for a while. i've been calling for the saints to be up here for three weeks now. [/ QUOTE ] All the way up to... number 10? I could see them being ahead of CAR but that's really contingent on them beating them because of tiebreaker stuff. That said the NFC South is so week to week. If everything holds to their lines TB will be 5-4, and both the Saints and the Panthers 4-4. At this point the Saints still have an easier schedule but need to beat both TB and CAR to win the division. I like the Saints - think they're obviously better than what they showed early on, and they're probably an average to above average team. That said they really played themselves into a hole and I'm still not convinced they're better than TB. |

I could see [New Orleans] being ahead of CAR but that's really contingent on them beating them because of tiebreaker stuff. [/ QUOTE ] Exactly. New Orleans pretty much has to beat Carolina to finish ahead of them, and that game is in Carolina in a couple weeks. I even have that game marked in blue because it's very important for ranking purposes. Is New Orleans better than Carolina? Yes. Will New Orleans finish ahead of them? My gut says yes, but the playoff odds thing on FO says no. It's really close either way. |

yj,
The reason the Giants are #5 is because his top four spots are reserved for division winners. JoA |
