Also, not only did he offer the HU for $50k then decide he couldn't afford it, but he won't even be staked for 25/50, he's giving away 50% of his action and is making me play [censored] 10/20? Jesus.

I would think a fold is in line in lite of the turned 8. Youre still not beating any of the hands you never were beating, the hands you were beating that hed likely bet again, youre chopping with. And although I dont see an 8 being part of a 26/8/3 range often in these spots, there are now hands that you were beating, that you cant beat anymore.
