Re: Death Star vs. U.S.S. Enterprise
[ QUOTE ]
If Vader is allowed to use the force then Q can show up and blink vader out of existance. [/ QUOTE ]It makes sense for Vader to use the force. It doesn't make sense for Q to show up and just let the Enterprise win. Q has no motive in letting either side win. |

Re: Death Star vs. U.S.S. Enterprise
Enterprise.
Enterprise shields render lasers useless. I believe the Death Star is nothing but a big Laser Array. Also Death Star has no shields, Enterprise can just keep Photon Torpedoes on repeat. |

Re: Death Star vs. U.S.S. Enterprise
Pop quiz: How large of a cube of water would the Death Star have to completely convert to energy in order to completely gravitationally unbind a planet similar to Earth?

Re: Death Star vs. U.S.S. Enterprise
The OPs original assumptions are flawed because we already know the death star can target individual ships.
Other flaws are: The Enterprise's shields last forever. The Enterprise has an unlimited number of photon torpedoes. Other: Do Kirk and crew know the death star's weekness? I don't think photon torpedoes fit inside the vent thingy. Enterprise has transporters to send ticking photon torpedoes straight to the death star core. I think enterprise wins by warping around the solar system while spock and scotty set up several time rigged photon torpedoes and get them ready for transport. Enterprise than warps in on the safer side of the deathstar and scotty sends the packages. Misc: I feel like a nerd again. |

Re: Death Star vs. U.S.S. Enterprise
[ QUOTE ]
Death Star dominates. It is the size of a small moon. The Enterprise isn't getting close enough to do much damage with phasers or photon torpedoes. Plus the Death Star has how many squadrons of tie fighters? Doubtful the Enterprise could defeat the Tie Fighters much less the whole Death Star. [/ QUOTE ] This is just so wrong I don't know where to start. Look, don't talk to me about "squadrons" and "size of moon" crap. We all know what this is coming down to: James T. Kirk Flying Body Tackle on Vader. If you honestly think there's a fight that can't be won with the JTKFBT, I just don't see how we can have a rational conversation about this. |
