[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] It's an insult. Even worse if you put A1 on before even taking a bite. What places that offer 40$ stakes would have A1 on the table, or even have A1 in the joint. [/ QUOTE ] None on the table, but they all have it there. Lots of kids ask for it too, which is fine, you can give them a pass. Nothing funnier though when someone orders a $40 steak well-done and smothers it in A1. lol. [/ QUOTE ] Ugh you eat them well done. Medium is tha bestest [/ QUOTE ] Where in my post do I say that I eat $40 steaks well-done? [/ QUOTE ] The part where new2nl misreads it, obv. [/ QUOTE ] I just assumed that his talk about smothering a 40$ well-done steak meant that his perception of the perfect steak was 40$ and well done. Therefore pouring A1 onto that steak ruined it. I post on a lower level than most I guess. [/ QUOTE ] fyp [/ QUOTE ] coming from a * |

Re: I\'m a steak snob...
Back on topic, pls -- proposed rule: if you need steak sauce in order to enjoy a particular steak, at least one of these is true: (1) your steak is not of good quality; (2) you suck at enjoying steak the way it should be enjoyed.

[/ QUOTE ] Agreed. Except, I like my steak medium-well. (i like a little char) and i hate when people tell me its "wrong" to eat it that way. I think raw and burnt are prolly closer to "wrong". |

Re: I\'m a steak snob...
I hate being stuck in [censored] school, I haven't had a 40 dollar steak in so long. All we have is an outback, which is alright, but yea. For those of you who have not had a balla steak, worth the money every time.

Medium Rare is the bestest and of course no A1 on a $40 steak........truthfully i love french fries and plain potato chips dipped in A1 [/ QUOTE ] very rare if a filet. I like it to moo at me. If a bone-in ribeye you have to go Med rare though otherwise its raw near the bone. |
