Decided to clean out my closet in more than one way.

Deleted all my old PT databases, as I was unable to ignore previous bad beats, up/downswings etc, so starting all over.
So my stats (with 2 hours of february to go here in Denmark) is ROI 11,54% at only 130 $27's.

The other way of cleaninng out the closet is making final preparations to play this for a living (have had to quit job due to medical reasons and got a very low monthly nut) and dealing with some serious personal issues. Hopefully two months vacation in Thailand will do me some good

February doesnt finish here , I have 8 hours to keep playing , but till now:
1434 stt 16s : 2.6% ROI 600$ profit
Plus a 215$ satellite

Enough to live but I fell like a donk with 2.6 %

This may be completely unwanted/unsolicited advice, but I'll give it anyway:

1. YOu can set the Preferences tab in PT to only give information since a given date, allowing you to get the type of "clean slate" you're talking about without deleting your entire database (and it's access to information about opponents play).

2. If you're incapable of ignoring bad beats and up/downswings, you really shouldn't be moving towards relying on this as your source of income.

roughly

+~500 in mtts
down in sngs, ~200 maybe.
up ~200 in cash

still not playing enough. february felt like a week. probably going to focus on cash with some mtts/sngs on the side this month.

sucks that this hasn't been a good month for a lot of you, hope march treats you better.

All advice is appreciated.

re: 1. = yes, I know I can filter the dates, but was cleaning up my PC anyway, and wanted to start from scratch.

Re: 2. = My incapability of ignoring bad beats have been due to other unfortunately rather serious personal issues. Meaning I was "looking for comfort" in my poker results (which of course was suffering).

So it's a couple of bad years in my life, which I don't want bad poker results to remind me of.
