Re: 55$ QJ sorted UTG. blinds 50/100

[ QUOTE ] Firstly, this hand wasn't played by me. The guy is not a 2+2er and have a 23% ROI after 730 games. I think it will be hard to find better than him. Well he raised to 300 and feel happy with it. [/ QUOTE ] lol fold [/ QUOTE ] PM from Ryendal: "your post is ridiculous, but good luck" My reply: "I'm not trying to be an [censored] with my post, but it's a fold and it's not even close. What is your friend's SN?" Reply from Ryendal: "He is better than you, bye" PWND!!! |

the first part of your answer show a flaw in your process thinking. The second part shows that you are a prick [/ QUOTE ] lol. What flaw is that? I think raising utg here is a losing play. Many seem to agree, please explain to us what we are missing? I'm not sure how the 2nd part of what I said is prickish in any way; feel free to elaborate, or don't, whatever. |

Re: 55$ QJ sorted UTG. blinds 50/100
You can make a good argument for both folding and shoving. This is one of my favorite shoving hands and I'm highly biased toward it but still folding > pushing in a typical sng. If this hand were in a vacuum then shoving would probably get the nod.
edit - QJs > KQo so fold that. Probably sack up and push KQs. |

shillx: QJs is one of my favorite shoving hands too, but I think it's pretty bad right here. You just aren't that desperate.

I don't like your ton, that is why I really don't feel any enthusiam eplxain you something. Since it is whatever for you, we are ok.
PS: The fact that you don't see how you acted like a prick is very funny |

Re: 55$ QJ sorted UTG. blinds 50/100
The fact that you obv don't see that a ton of regulars and some newbs (as me) are repeatedly stating that doing anything else than folding this hand in this specific situation is a leak and will cost you (or your friend, whatever) money in the long run.
If, however, you don't like money, this play is absolutely fine. |

Re: 55$ QJ sorted UTG. blinds 50/100
Tozzy, I guess you don't see that I fold myself and my point is that I give credit to a raise. The other point is to try to think out of the box.
Moreover I know who are the regulars and who is good. |

Re: 55$ QJ sorted UTG. blinds 50/100
This is a fold, the end. Pushing is certainly -EV so that's out. Raising is bad since someone is very likely to pick up a hand better than yours. If you're at the tightest table in the world blah blah yeah you can make a case whatever, but anything except folding here is a leak.
Just because it's unconvential and "thinking outside the box" does not mean it's good. You don't see this play often because it's bad. |

Then you are crediting an awful play.
I'm glad you know whos good and whos not, but i suggest you take into consideration that some hugely successful and active regulars are posting in this thread. |
