Re: Calling monster over-bet with draw (5/10NL)
It's just math if you are 100% correct on your read. But if any of the parties involved (I'm thinking button) have a hand like A5d and are happy to ride you're toast.

Re: incorrect call
he thought that kt would make a correct decision and fold. therefore, if he knew he was up against a set of 5s, as he said he expected, he has a negitive expectation here. there is not enough money in the pot to make this a push, it was a fold. QJs vs a set of 5's on a board of KsTs5 is a dog.

I am thinking about creating a new high stakes forum. Who cares to join me.

[ QUOTE ]
a straight flush draw is not a dog to a set [censored] [/ QUOTE ] At least get the math right if you want to be insulting; otherwise there's no reason not to ban you. A straight flush draw is a significant dog to a set. In THIS hand, however, because there are two other made hands coming along, the straight flush draw is the favorite. |

Re: Wrong Vince
yes it is. the str8 flush draw is about even $ to make either a str8 or a flush by the river. of course he only has 2 outs to the str8flush. of the times he makes only the str8 OR the flush he looses when the set (which is 3.8 to 1 to become a full house by the river) gets there and wins. in those cases the str8 or the flush loses. this type of draw is almost a 3 to 2 dog to the set. don't call people names, especially when giving incorrect info.

Re: Calling monster over-bet with draw (5/10NL)
do you routinely refer to pot sized raises as monster overbets?
