I've felt that he's gotten a free pass from the "Best Player to Never..." kind of media scrutiny compared to what Phil got.

Something really weird has to happen for him to lose and I don't see it-- switching to a belly putter takes out the old formula where he'd get nervy putting and put pressure on the rest of his game. He's also played well enough to reduce the field.

Those are some nasty playing conditions. I agree if Els hadn't had that triple that he'd be in very good shape to make a run at the Claret Jug.

I was going to stay up and watch him tee off see if he would get some awesome round going. Thank god I didn't. I was really thinking Tiger would pull off some miracle around, 64, 63 today. What wishful thinking.

I hope Ernie wins.
