the future bets (Milwaukee, Arizona, Cleveland, Minnesota) also look ok right now and have gone up in value generally

Like I said before the way he caps games works WAY better in the first half and when the markets get more efficient during the 2nd half his methods went to hell. Wouldn't be surprised if he has another 100+ unit pre All-Star Season next year.

Ervin Santana under 15 W - This is either a win or a no action. He needs to make 3 more starts for this bet to have action, so we'll see if LA allows him to do that.

"Santana, who threw 23 pitches, probably made his last start this season, as manager Mike Scioscia is expected to replace him in the rotation with Moseley." -ESPN

Yeah, the Santana one is probably no action. There's still the VERY small chance that Santana is effective in a bullpen role, Moseley fails miserably, and Santana is inserted back into the rotation for a final 3 starts. I highly doubt it though.

I disagree with this totally. There is no way he could pick as poorly as his results turned out if he tried. Nor would he likely run as hot for the first 8 weeks again. Sometimes you run hot and sometimes you run cold. Obv as season wears on his edge becomes smaller as markets become more efficient and even the moran "feel" bettors come to reality.

Santana is done for this year. Don't expect 3 more starts, especially if they need to win come the last week of the season. He f'n sucks.

edit: I would love to see a "How much can you suck" tag team match... Mike Mussina and Kyle Farnsworth v Ervin Santana and Scot Sheilds
