Re: The mark of the douchebag

I thot the white stickers were for street parking in those beaches. No? [/ QUOTE ] Hmmmm, maybe there is something to this. I assumed it was for people to give themselves a stupid shout-out about where they vacation, but I could see it being applicable for something like that. |

[/ QUOTE ] OBX, if you say so, but you realize there *are* beach towns in this country where they mail to residents valid parking stickers, similar to those oval ones, that are required by law, for street parking during summertime and on weekends. |

Re: The mark of the douchebag
I don't agree with a lot of these suggestions, but this thread delivers hard.
My own suggestions: People who went to Harvard who say they "went to school in Boston" like we don't know what the [censored] that means. I'm not bragging but really I am. (Note, nobody who went to like MIT or Tufts ever does this, just Harvard) Wearing a basketball jersey to play/watch basketball. (Similarly, wearing a replica Jersey to play pickup soccer). Seriously, for some reason basketball jerseys are much douchier than others. I think baseball jerseys to the park or to a BBQ are completely cool. Hockey sweaters rock, fullstop. Any "more patriotic than thou art" bumper sticker. Any "more environmentally conscious than thou art" bumper sticker, especially on a car that isn't like a Prius. Confederate Flag bumperstickers = ne plus ultra of d-baggery. Zubaz. Bonus d-bag points for wearing them at the gym with a tight, tucked-in man tank-top. Grills. Wallet Chains. I 42nd bluetooth. While not in car or otherwise actively using hands. Using blackberry at a restaurant. Worse is at a movie. Radiohead fans. Guys wearing white pants. |

[ QUOTE ]
emon, I'm gonna be honest and say that people who wear sports jerseys to game generally suck - I don't think that makes them "douchebags" per se, but that they trend towards being blue-collar weirdos. I have not a single friend who has ever worn a team player jersey to a sporting event, ever. But I do see a lot of guys with mullets and wispy mustaches sporting them along with their sweet jeans shorts and tennis shoes. [/ QUOTE ] Must be a regional thing. Wearing a Chiefs Shirt to Arrowhead Stadium is almost requried. |

Guys who say that they "play guitar" and can't rock anywhere north of 5-6 chords and a highly butchered Free Bird.

Re: The mark of the douchebag
Bytor,
Where'd you find that pic? Who actually gets a tattoo like that thinking it's a good idea? The only way I could see a card tattoo being even remotely ok would be if it's on a pro magician or something like that, and even then it's questionable. |
