Re: How do you control the pot OOP?
(Villain = super fish) + (Hero holds TPTK) = control the pot????????????
So many times people say "don't play your cards, play your opponent's cards". Well, this is one of those times where you want to play you cards b/c their all that matters. Get it all in. |

Villain is a super fish, VPIP 60+, WtSD 40%, etc [/ QUOTE ] I feel villain will call down w/any king given the description On another note, lets say villain is a reasonable player. What is your line w/TPTK here? What % of the pot do you bet on the flop/turn/river |

Re: How do you control the pot OOP?
guys, against a superfish and a STRONG hand, TPTK vs a fish IS a strong hand, AK here it not even close to being marginal. FIRE AWAY FOR VALUE

Re: How do you control the pot OOP?
I never check this flop. Mabye I'm off but if that isn't weak tight what is. You raise with AK hit top pair and check. Why raise in the first place then. What were you hoping for. Against a super fishy opponent he could easily win a nice pot off a worse king. I like the flop and turn play. Pretty much how I would play it. I would be either check calling a reasonable bet on river, or betting about 1/2 pot on river. If this is wrong let me know cause I'm messing up a bunch of hands.

Re: How do you control the pot OOP?
Maybe I am crazy, but I am firing on every street against this guy. And as Fly said, let him worry about what he calls down with....
Earlier today, I was playing and raised pf w/ J9 spades. Flop came J high w/ 2 D's..checks to me, i bet, he calls, turn is 10 spades, so 2 spades 2 D's out now...he checks i check behind...river is a D, he checks I fire out 2/3 to rep a low flush, he calls me down and MHIG....to conclude, let them figure out the terrible hands they will call you down with |

Re: How do you control the pot OOP?
I bet this flop every time as well, and if I want to control the pot I check then turn. Then I lead for 1/2 pot on and call a small raise. If villain likes to bluff tehn I ch/call river to induce.

Re: How do you control the pot OOP?
I'd bet 40 and fold to raise. His WSD is just too high not to valuebet this river imo.
