Re: thoughts on pride fc lines?
[ QUOTE ]
Did anyone ever watch Randleman fight? He's a joke...take you down, lay on you. Coleman has never been able to keep the pace of a fight for more than 5-10 minutes...Baroni already had excellent ground skills before hammer house...so I doubt this will come into play. [/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] Randleman, Coleman, and Baroni = Steroids Steroids = Lack of Endurance I am well aware of cutting weight, but when you cut large amounts of weigh so close to a fight MOST fighters suffer in endurance because they wasted so much energy on just losing the weight. And we already talked about Baroni's weak conditioning to begin with. Tuds |

This was generally considered accepted, but these days, fighters are managing it. Tito Ortiz was largely considered the best conditioned athlete when he was at the top of his game...and he never came into a fight without cutting over 20lbs. Rich Franklyn cuts a SERIOUS amount of weight...I'm talking nearly 30lbs...and I have yet to see that guy gas. However, none of this really relates to the orignal point that, no, it is not weird that Baroni looked overweight while cornering Coleman at the last PRIDE. |
