River was irrelevant, he had 3$ behind and when he bet 1$ i was sure I was behind.
My concern was the turn bet, why would he bet 2$ into 27 and then flat call my 20$? Do you always go broke set over set? Because that's what I was afraid of. |

[/ QUOTE ] I go broke set over set for 100BB. I ALWAYS ALWAYS "go broke" set over set for 35BBs, especially in spots like this and it's not close. I know you probably lost the hand and it sucks. It's a cooler though. Make a note and move on. Being afraid of the nuts when you have the second nuts is such a value killer and you leave a TON of money on the table playing this way. |
