haha yeah this happens to me a lot. makes me feel so insecure, like i'm so desperate to answer any phone call i get that i'll try and answer the phone even when it's not ringing...

proof of pavlov's dog and that we are more related to dogs and animals in terms of instincts than we would like to think.

This happens to me all the time. Of course, when my phone is really vibrating I somehow only notice it about 50% of the time.

Ditto. I would falsely hear the ringer all the time too (especially when water was running nearby, for some reason) until I got a newfangled phone and started using mp3's as ringtones.

a) This happens to me all the time.
b) Even moreso when I am driving because I will have my phone in my left side pocket, which sometimes will touch the door while im driving. If I am listening to music loudly the door will have a little vibration and make my paranoia even worse.

also, some justin timberlake song that was always on the radio a while back had me reaching for my phone like three times per play before i realized it was the song.
