Hime,

Guess your mother didnt teach you any manners.

Sincerely,
Lamboruns

Yes, Bordertown has a small poker room running 3-6 and 1-2nl and thats about it. Two small tourneys a day 25 bucks around 20-30 players. I have not played there yet just went by on a scouting trip. Yes they have Blackjack as well and four days a week its fee free. Its not to the standards of a cherokee casino card room but the competition seems a lot softer.

Leave the guy alone. I'm looking for some info and maybe this guy can help me. If he's played at these places, his info will be valuable to me.

Hey Lamb, a buddy and I will be heading up to NW Oklahoma around Thanksgiving and we want to spend a night somewhere and play poker. We would be mainly interested in playing $4/8. As we see it, we have 3 main options.... Winstar, one of the poker rooms around OKC or Cherokee in Tulsa. Any advice on where we should play on a Thursday evening/night and maybe a Friday morning? We've been leaning towards Cherokee but are open to other ideas.

Thanks for the info.

Cherokee. Really nice poker room. A lot of 4-8 (even have 4-8 O8 i think) You might be able to get a poker rate room it being in the middle of the week. If you need any information let me know.

Cherokee doesn't run as much 4/8 limit as they do 1/2 NL... but there are always 2 4/8 games going. Creek always has 1/2... usually 2 games going around 4PM on weekdays and anytime on weekends. They get 3/6 anytime between 2PM and 5PM on weekdays and eventually have up to 4 tables going around 10PM. You can sometimes get a kill game going there too. And ocassionaly they play 7 stud. A lot of 1/2 players split and go play 2/5/10 PLO as soon as they can and that game goes on till very late with serious deep stacks. Also they play a round of each 1/2. I've only been to Buffalo Run once and all they had was 2 3/6 games going. I was just at Paradise and there was just a single 1/2 NL game going, and that wasn't until a friend of mine and I signed up. There might be more when it's not a gameday (OSU) though.
