Re: Is this a good bluff?
I like the checkminraise here, he'll rarely put you on a draw when you do it so he's unlikely to play back at you too fast, plus he'll be suspicious and fold a lot of non-ace hands better than yours. Like, a ton of his range. And if he calls it, you know he'll pay off when you get there, so you can play accordingly.
I agree that turn is a c/r though, because you can shove any river you hit and c/f any you dont, supposing it checks through. And if he does bet, he'll have to give consideration to folding most aces. As played, I think its a reasonable river shove. The last barrel should work fairly often on a board like this. Preflop is meh as well |

I guess I got a bit unlucky in that 1) I missed 15 outs again, and 2) he rivered his kicker. Based on how long it took him to call flop and turn, I felt like he would have folded AT had a blank come.

every street is misplayed here [/ QUOTE ] no, stop being such a std nit Preflop, I agree with jfish. 3bet or fold, calling is fine as long as its very rarely done and you should be more inclined to call when deeper. I like checking the turn as well with the intent of checkraising. As played, river seems good. |
