Re: took a non-std line with top pair 600nl, thoughts?
[ QUOTE ]
I cannot see him ever calling with a worse hand, ever. [/ QUOTE ] if he has AT or KT he shows down. if he has J7 (????) he calls too. |

I dont think AT KT call this river all the time, and not enough to make up for the times u are value betting for him

Nah don't like it its too thin really. He doesn't have a weaker hand that can call you nearly enough

Re: took a non-std line with top pair 600nl, thoughts?
Imo the problem is that many of his marginal hands like QJ/KJ/AJ/QQ will check/call the river trying to induce a bluff from your busted fd. He won't have worse Jx often.
I call the flop. |

Re: took a non-std line with top pair 600nl, thoughts?
I usually do call the flop Nick, just mixing it up, because i had been raising a decent amount of flops.
Bobbos and AA, yeah agree 100% his range is mainl bluff catchers, alot of which beat me berseck, i mentioned KQ in the op, it definitely is a factor (not because he could have it, although you probably realise that), not sure if it's enought to sway it towards being a good bet. That's debatable. fwiw i had been 3b a fair amount too, so he could expect me to 3b that a decent % of the time which comes into it. If he's thinking that deeply, I'm not sure. overall i think more of his calling hands beat me. It's too thin i think, and agree with you all. I had been FOS alot at the tables he was on, which was one of the main reasons behind it. He called with KJ mhing. KJ would be fine i think, QJ would be ok too, maybe? |
