I remember Scheider saying losing over 500bb is impossible for a good limit player.

[/ QUOTE ]

I dare you to find me ever saying that, cuz I haven't.

[ QUOTE ]
call 2bet oop with K9o - flop 4KK

[/ QUOTE ]

Huh? You mean defending a BB? That's the only thing that makes sense, and if that doesn't make sense to you, than I can tell you're a NL player and have a little bit of work to do on your lhe game.

Damn. I was hoping someone could provide a link where you said that because it struck me as pretty surprising coming from you.

i should make videos so people can see what it's really like to run bad.

[/ QUOTE ]

I might be leveled here but I am actually seriously want to see a video where the online pro running super bad and hear their train of thought. Like to see how professional deal with bad streak, what strategy they use to minimize the damage. I believes it take a lot of skill to survive horrific streak and I would love to see how each pro in cardrunner deal with it.

[/ QUOTE ]

i can't tell you how many times i've made videos and just run so bad... the last time i seriously almost got tilted, but i was told it made for a good video.

I just watch Mike Scheider video at Cardplayer.com for card runner. I remember Scheider saying losing over 500bb is impossible for a good limit player. Now I finnally see his point of view.

http://www.cardplayer.com/tv/27866

3bet AK oop - flop A22 turn K
fold 88 for 4 bet in sb - flop AJ8
sb vs bb, he 2bet A4 - flop A65
call 2bet oop with K9o - flop 4KK
3bet in sb with AT - flop 48A turn A
2bet A9 vs 1 limper - flop 7K4, did he miss the flop? I was kinda surprise.

[/ QUOTE ]

whats the point of this thread, that Mike hits flops? Everything he did in that video was very standard, he wasn't out of line at all. I don't recall calling K9o vs a raise out of position, do you mean as a big blind defense? If so thats 100% standard vs an aggressive blind stealer.

BaronZeus made just such a "running bad" video recently - there's a thread somewhere in MHSH. It's quite amusing, though maybe not instructive. Cliff notes: he swears. A lot.

I watched this and found it to be very interesting and helpful and Im glad I didnt get sound on it, bc I probably would not have paid much attention to the play. The best thing about it was the thread associated with the vid to compare notes. It gives me confidence that my process is similar to a successful player and what mistakes I found were found by others. I really need to get a CR subscription and check these vids out.
