Re: girls hate that word?
[ QUOTE ]
Nothing in particular. I am neutral about the word just like just about any word.. I don't see how this word is 'dumb'. [/ QUOTE ] Well its a slang word for a woman's vagina that has only negative connotations, unlike say pussy which is sexy and cute like a kitty cat and oh baby give me your hot wet pussy etc etc. C-nt is just a raw word to ever use at a woman, but if you are neutral about it then go right ahead. |

I don't like the word 'moist' either, and I'm a guy. Something about it just bothers me.

Re: girls hate that word?
Most girls I know hate "pussy" too, fwiw.
Also I think women are more sensitive to curse words or epithets in general, like most I know would be really offended by words like "fgt" or "n*gger" in casual conversation while most guys don't really care. |

Re: girls hate that word?

[ QUOTE ] I hate the first word as well. I am not a girl. It's just a dumb word. [/ QUOTE ] Funny how some words have really strong offensive qualities, I would count this one as a top 5 offensive word. Another (I wonder if this will pass the profanity filter) is 'wanker'. To me (I am English), this is another top 5 'bad word' and it amuses me how it has entered the American language from British movies, etc, as a funny word to say, without them realising what it means or that it is such a profanity. Ha, it passes the profanity filter - qed! [/ QUOTE ] Unless I'm mistaken, pretty much every American who uses it knows exactly what it means and uses it accordingly. It sounds more like you just have a low tolerance for that word and can't believe others don't. |

Re: girls hate that word?
[ QUOTE ]
Well its a slang word for a woman's vagina that has only negative connotations [/ QUOTE ] Not exactly. Some places in the world, the word 'c*nt', believe it or not (ye that take offense to such a simple articulation of sound), is used as a term of endearment. In Scotland, for example, you might hear one refer to a friend "He's a good '[censored]', that one". Or, it may be thrown around as a gentle slander "Aye, ya [censored] you". Some feminist movements are attempting to reclaim the word as a strong 'girl power' sort of thing. The idea is that 'c*nt' isn't something that we should be embarrassed by. The word's strong derogatory interpretation can easily be construed to strike at the essence of womanhood. 'C*nt' is attitude and pride! It's only so bad a word cause you folks are silly. |

Yeah sorry I didn't take Scotland into account in my analysis.
