So ghey... I was waiting for him to slip and fall and the weight to crack his skull. [/ QUOTE ] I tried. Apparently these swiss ball 'experts' fall directly on the camera before being hauled off to traction. With a broken camera and years worth of hospital bills, they don't have the resources or motor skills to post the video. |

Re: Exercise of the Week: New Squat Technique
this looks tougher then it really is. Once you get the hang of, and are comfortable with getting on the ball, balancing, and free squating, adding weight is nothing.
this is def. one of the best core exercises. |

Re: Exercise of the Week: New Squat Technique
If you realy wanted to do this you could use one of those half balls hat sit on the wood. That would make it pretty easy and doable without much pracice |

Once you can get onto the ball routinely, it's really not THAT hard to stay balanced. Having said that, I really don't see the point/need to perform weighted squats on them. I'm not sure I'd call it an amazing core exercise. |

It's hard to dump a back squat safely outside of a cage, and that's flat on the ground with only one (as opposed to 360 degrees) direction to go. There's a lot of ways to work the core and a much safer variation on the same theme (not saying I've done it or would do it) would be with an overhead dumbbell. |
