Re: What? You just called my 4bet?! Now what?
1) Small bet or chk flop & shove against raise on turn or bet turn
2) Chk chk chk chk stop reraising with AKo out of position. 3) Ez Shove. # 1 ) I think you can get more value out of AK by chking the flop, giving your opponent a free card. He may take a stab w/ 1010-JJ-QQ and you can shove, If you bet small on the flop though he may chk shove with QQ or something. I highly doubt he has a flush draw. |

Re: What? You just called my 4bet?! Now what?
Isn't his range for calling your 4-bet literally, AA/KK/AK/QQ? With you being that nitty, wouldn't it be better to check through the flop. If you're ahead he's drawing to 2 outs, and if you're behind, you're [censored] anyways. So checking gives the possibility of getting some value from QQ.
This makes sense to me, but I think I kinda suck in 3-bet, 4-bet pots so lmk if my thinking is right. thanks |

Re: What? You just called my 4bet?! Now what?
What is the point of constantly reraising out of position with AKo? Flop comes 789 you bet $135 to take it down he shoves with 1010, 910, JJ+ and you've just lost like what, 20 BB? lol.. seriously, at least if you flat call a RR your hand can be somewhat disguised. It's always obvious you have AK when you 4-bet out of position unless you're pretty tight/solid. Anyone with a brain will outplay you on that flop. loL

Re: What? You just called my 4bet?! Now what?
A lot of tags simply don't show up with AK in these spots, so disagree with jfish that we're giving up a lot of equity by c/f hand 2. Unless he has spewy tendencies, I don't like a bet there. I like checking all 3 hands.
