you actually gave him correct odds to draw to a flush.

[/ QUOTE ]

he gave him like 2.8:1? how do you figure?

Itīs like 36,5:8 or so given that Hero had no intention to give up without further investment should a flush card fall. So u can kindof add Heroīs river bet as Villain has those $$ as implied odds. Villain, however, didnīt know that for sure (could have guessed though), but Hero knew and Hero doesnīt want Villain to play correctly or close to it.

Villainīs turn call was 17% of the pot as it was after Heroīs river bet went in, while Villain makes the flush (if he has a draw) about 19%. Again, Hero knew (or should have known) he wouldnīt get out for free should Villain make a flush. Maybe it would be different if Heroīs intention was to check the river behind should villain check. But what then if Villain bets?

Wow! Hero fold!

I don't think I could have made it, but I like it. I concur on the advice on other streets.

Eh, checking the flop isn't the worst thing in the world. It is very dry, but any card popping up might kill action or create some draws.

Bet more on turn. If you think he has TT, why didn't you get it all in on the flop? River is a clear b/f unless you have reads. Also, with only 2 streets of action, it is very difficult ot say what he may or may not have. If you know he's a good player, then this is an easy fold.

i put him on a pair preflop, i thought the ace might kill the action on the dry flop. after i folded, initially i thought he make a flush, but the more i think about it, the more its likely to be 10s, the thing about folding is that u never gonna know if you are right or not.

wouldnt a bet on the flop kill all the action. i mean the board is prety dry and any high pair would probably fold. lets say he has QQs. I will probably get more money out of him if i check the flop and value bet the turn and the river, plus he could hit a queen so i can stack him.
