Her mug in that video...not good. I don't understand the 'wow factor' around this woman at all.

Can't the concept of game theory be thoroughly described in a single paragraph? Or is there more to it that I'm not aware of?

She studied it in college? They gave her credit for it!?

[/ QUOTE ]

Did most of my undergraduate degree in game theory/comp science

Miss Rousso does not espouse the fundamentals very well

Also doing my masters thesis now on game theory and online poker

BTW make no mistake about it, Rousso is good for poker. It shows that even a total clueless donk can wind up winning. Long term she'll give it all back and anything else she has left. Short term just a good looking blonde "game theory" expert. And understand why poker stars likes her type. She is gonna attract the rank amateur fish. "If she can win I know I can" thing.

I just watched all the VR you tube videos. OMG. How can she act like an expert the way she plays? How can she be invited to speak on shows about game theory?

I saw her on the Donny Deutch (sp?) show on cnbc a awhile back before i knew who she was. She had me fooled--I thought she was for real

Also, Joe Navarro should use clips of her in a video edition of his book. She gives of tells that Helen Keler could see

She's even publicly stated she's a donkament player. Obviously she has no idea how to play cash games.

Tournaments are a different strategy but it also shows just how much weaker tournament players are.

It's not that different...

As noted she is a statistical outlier in poker and that meens donkaments in particular since she have made money in a few of those.

Well donkaments are like lotteries.. i.e. often times fish get lucky and win a few, like Rousso. As long as she pumps it back into the poker economy that's good, and she most certainly will overtime. People may rag on Jamie Gold but at least that idiot is giving it all back to the poker economy. The problem I have is that he's giving it all back to the high stakes guys where it seems to stay. But poker is a giant pyramid ending up it the hands of a select few.
