Re: 1k HU common tough spot
I would lead 360 or so and shove a lot of rivers
I think crai sucks a these stacks and it will be gross if he thinks he priced himself onin w oesd+pair Checking is ok too cuz he checks behind a lot |

Re: 1k HU common tough spot
Why would he bet J9? And stacks are perfect for CR, don't understand your comment - it will be a pot-sized push.

Re: 1k HU common tough spot
I play plenty of HU, don't worry, I'm not coming at it from a 6m perspective. But his flat call on the flop looks like he wants to play for pot control. So it wouldn't be consistent to all of a sudden decide to go nuts with J9 on the turn. If he wanted to play a big pot with J9, the time was on the flop, not on that turn.

(though I agree that many/most will bet J9, or any J, and often call a shove). Yes, there are plenty of opponents who won't fold TP here to a crai, but virtually everyone will shove a draw over us if we bet, precisely because the stacks are just about perfect for it. Checking means he checks behind some hands that would push us off/make us make a gross call, and I agree that some will bet/fold one pair. But also, IMO you really want him to reliably bet/call off his whole stack here with Jx in general, so getting it in as a 3:1 or 2:1 dog this time is not a huge deal. |

Re: 1k HU common tough spot
thats a fair point- and im pro not being as detailed as i wojld like posting from my phone but...
This board is super drawy, and as you said yourself, you are almost always betting vulnerable 1pr hands again. So i think if u crai it looks a lot like what it is and if he decides to bet w any decent hands i think hes never folding. Not too mention when he has a really strong hand. Unless you think hes just floating every time- in which case 2nd b works as well and gives u more options and imo is better against his rAnge- i think crai sucks |

Wanted to add that I think checking is perfectly fine and may be best plan but that IMO 2nd/3rd barrel>>>crai

also cero-
Against typical 5/10 opponents I don't think we need to get it in here bad ever to insure action on future hands |

Re: 1k HU common tough spot
snipes, how do you play AJ/AT here as villain? I think I'll often call flop and then either check or bet/fold turn.

[/ QUOTE ] I prob fire and check a similar amount ur never too upset getting free card w/ AT or keeping pot smallish w AJ and can crai if he bets Folding an 8-10 outer is also not the end of the world |
