Wait.. there are duplicate table numbers in the tent and in the Amazon room? How do you know which to go to? My registration card for Sunday's NL event doesn't specify a room - I just assumed there's only one table 6, or 160... there are two??

You have no way to know until you show up.

When you see the cash players with $1 chips at your table, you'll know you have gotten the shaft and will be spending a nice afternoon sweating with your fellow WSOP players.

I guess that's incentive to get there early. If I find that my table is out in the Pavillion on Sunday when it's supposed to be 104 for a high, I'll just mosey on over to registration and get a refund. $3k should buy me a comfortable playing environment if nothing else.

If it's any consolation, I froze my ass off inside.

heh... so it's either freezing or sweltering. Nice.

It's t-shirt and shorts for me. I can always add layers.

I took another look at my WSOP ticket for today. It was processed by a cashier named Gabriella Reed, so the bottom of the ticket reads "License: wsopgreed".

I guess I can't say they didn't warn me.

This might be the best end to any thread ever.

And I can't believe what they're doing in LV. Good grief.

I played today. It was definitely toasty in the pavilion. I had a bit of swamp ass going on and couldn't put my big headphones on without getting swamp ear, an affliction I didn't know existed.

yah this is my first year and it's been awful in the 2k they wouldn't color me up when I had 4-5 racks of black chips which were impeding the dealers since I was in seat 1 but they had a new rule and wouldn't break it for the tables sake.

Are Harrah's Entertainment and the WSOP two different entities? If so, what type of agreement do they have? Can the WSOP move to another room, that is more player friendly?

Any solutions to this madness? I reccon I will have enough money saved to play an event or two in a few years, and I sure as hell do not want to be playing in conditions like the ones you described.

Great post Dan.
