Re: interesting 3 way (dry sidepot) hand v. tay 25/50
Bet the turn, have to call river.
I think he's going to have trips or a boat 85% of the time and you are ahead of trips. |

Re: interesting 3 way (dry sidepot) hand v. tay 25/50
The line is fine b/c the cold call is mad scary and is likely at least a 7. With that said, ur hand is severely under-rep'd here (he most likely puts you on an overpair) so he may just be betting A7 for value, so I have to call.

Re: interesting 3 way (dry sidepot) hand v. tay 25/50
I like how you played the hand.
I have to ask though since I think it's important and has to be considered with Tay's play: How would you play a good overpair here like QQ. You'd bet the flop, but would you size the bet so that you could repop it if the shortstacked player pushed? Would you overcall with QQ after Tay coldcalled on the flop? I'm just wondering what your line with a hand like that is because if you'd play it like this and pay off the river (which I don't think you would) then Tay can be v-betting any hand like 78 here. |

Re: interesting 3 way (dry sidepot) hand v. tay 25/50
I can't really imagine another way of playing it, given that you bet the flop. There's no reason to fold or raise the river.

[/ QUOTE ] what about betting the turn? there are a lot of combinations of 7s, less combinations of 77, 55, and maybe i get the more value off the 7s on the turn than on the river? i'm not sure. |
