This has to revolve, in some way, around asking everyone what they themselves are.

For each question, you can choose any of the 100 people (even someone that you have previously questioned) and ask him about any 1 of the other 99

ok then

i realize the problem is <font color="white">how do you really know who you can trust- all we know is that there are more knights than spies, and spies can obviously lie about another spies- but clearly the solution has to involve around figuring out just 1 person and then asking him on the rest </font>

find any guy (Guy A). Ask him about another guy (Guy B) 10 times. If he answers the same way 10 times, hes gotta be a knight. Ask him about the rest of the guys.

If he answers differently any of the times, move on to some other guy and repeat the procedure.

It would take a serious bad beat to not find a knight in this manner.
