I am a winning player, my problem is controlling my impulses and sticking to a grind.

LOL @ an 8-month downswing. What is that, 150k hands?

I'm sure you play the game well, but playing the actual game of poker is only part of being a winning player.
You're not a winning player. If you were, you would not be making this post. Until you accept this, you're never going to change your bad habits and become a winning player.

I am a winning player. I questioned it obviously as I was losing but I am sure of it now. I'm not a marginally winning player either. The best evidence I can give for that is my Sharkscope.

And any tips for learning to manage your bankroll correctly? I obviously understand all the proper bankroll requirements, and am not a sick degen like some others. I just need a way to push myself to do this.

get a job, you currently lack the discipline to play correctly. Maybe some time slaving in the real world will help you not be a degen with [censored] bankroll skills like the majority of the 2p2 "pros"

Our situations are a lot different though. I paid for college as well as a lot of other things through poker and it was my only money source.

Getting a job would be such a beat right now, hard to even imagine working for 10$ an hour.

I can play PLO8 but not at a very high level. I believe i can beat the lowish midstakes games though.

The fact that I need to treat myself as a losing player due to my poor BR management is something I really have to drill into my head.

On another note, I'm doing fairly well in two MTTs on Full Tilt, SN: ImNotSoGood if you'd like to rail
