I just don't understand all the hate for the WNBA on these forums. This is solid, fundamental basketball the way it was meant to be played and if you can't watch and enjoy it, you aren't a true fan of basketball. These girls are dedicated well-conditioned athletes at the top of their game that deserve just as much respect as the men. Along with the hundreds of fans that tune in each week to see them give it their all I am very happy that they choose to nationally televise these games. I am also very pleased at the amount of promotion and advertising the league has been getting during NBA games. While ratings and attendance have been terrible for 10 years I believe that it is simply because people have yet to be educated about the greatness of women's sports due to a decided lack of media attention on outlets such as ESPN, and in due time many more fans will come to appreciate these amazing women.
You can have your Tracy McGrady, Lebron James, Dwayne Wade flashy behind the back 360 dunks anyday. I'll continue to watch the league where the real unselfish team basketball is being played, the way the sport's founders envisioned it to be. We got next.

because a good high school men's team destroys a WNBA allstar team

high school boys games get minimal coverage(and only when its a featuring someone like Lebron)

also the fundamentals aren't better, its simply inferior athletes playing against other inferior athletes and weak fundamentals don't get punished like they would in the NBA

the worst team in the NBA this year shot 43.8% from the field, 8WNBA teams shot worse, 1tied, and 5shot better but topped out at 46.2%(good for about league average in the NBA)

3PT% are lower, FT% about the same .. they are simply inferior in game shooters than men

the NBA shots are tougher, the 3point line is further out, men are fundamentally better shooters
