Re: A few basic spots
cmyr, is that because you're all chasing the Americans or because you are American?
iggy, thanks, but you did use the comments for the wrong hands ... which just means I wasn't clear enough to begin with. The comments are under each hand, and in hand 3 MP is pretty loose with a wide opening range here. |

Re: A few basic spots
On hand 2, do you fold to any non-board pairing river (every other card in the deck completes a straight)? If so, wouldn't taking a free card with a check behind on the turn be more +ev?
Keep in mind I'm an Omaha newbie |

Re: A few basic spots
Oh yeah, I guess I read that wrong. When looking at Hand 2, I wasn't sure what the comment referred to, but then when looking at Hand 3, I just assumed the nitty thing went there.
Anyway, assuming both players are loose/aggro, I think preflop's standard, and I think it's a definite push on the flop too. An aggressive player's C-betting a lot of weak draws and AK/AQ type hands, and even occasionally pure air while you'll also get called down by A8 type hands from CO a lot in addition to the draws. Definitely get it in here. |
