Good luck getting the 6/12 mixed to fly. When I checked in today the game was canceled because the local nits didn't want to play 5 handed. So very weak.

and I'd venture to guess that it was a 75% chance that one of the two players was O'Neil. That guy is scary good at low games, Billy Baxter doesn't scare me but from what I've seen of him O'Neal does.

Treasure Island will. They call it the "Tangerine Mixer."

You will likely have to get an interest list going, but if you are there at night and have the social skills to talk it up at the table, you should have no problem getting it going. The floor and the dealers will want the mixed game to go.

Started a list of interest for any limit razz at MGM LV a month ago...the floor looked at me funny and said why not. No takers. After several hours, I told the floor,"I called everyone out on a Saturday night and nobody wanted any, they must know something!"

I'm going to Vegas for the first time next week.
It would obviously be fun to play some mixed game, but I'm a low stakes player (2/4 or 3/6... possibly 4/8 if the game seems interesting enough). I've understood that the Tangerine mixer at TI has been having trouble getting people lately. How often is there a mixed game going at TI? (I would of course prefer to play some Razz and some other fun games in the mix, but even the hold'em/omaha/pineapple mix that is their default would be OK)
Is there any other place where I might find a low stakes mixed game? (I know that there are a few different places that claim (e.g., on allvegaspoker.com) that they spread mixed games, but I was rather wondering about places where such games actually gets going on a fairly regular basis.)

I will be in Vegas Monday afternoon until Sunday morning, so I guess my best shot at finding a game would be Friday or Saturday night, right?

Nobody spreads Razz live anymore unless its a mixed game, or a special request where you bring players. Its not common. BUT if you want to fly to Vegas, I'll get a HU or three handed game for you at any reasonable stakes.

What do you consider to be reasonable stakes, and where would such a game take place? I'm leaving for Vegas in 11 hours, and Razz would be fun to play...
