Re: Party 2-4 Aces in BB
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] River bet is good - key is you have the Ace of hearts, so no one can have the nuts. [/ QUOTE ] This is so practically irrelevant in this spot. [/ QUOTE ] If I get all the money in on this river, no one can rationally call me. Think about how the hand played out. Think about what hands villains can call a push on the river. So yes, having A hearts is absolutely relevant for this bluff situation. |

Re: Party 2-4 Aces in BB
BTW, a lot of this is villain dependent. I am assuming villains are good thinking players, but then I remembered the stakes, and then betting can be marginal.
If villains are good thinking players, pot bet river, obv. fold to raise. If villains are terrible players, obv. check fold. |

Re: Party 2-4 Aces in BB
This bluff is a lot better if you 3bet pf.

Not because you're likely to make a lower flush fold, but because it makes it less likely that someone was calling/betting the turn with just a flush draw. |

K high flush has a tough call and will prolly end up talking himself into it but it's still a good spot to bluff. although, checkraising turn is better as wazz mentioned. |

Re: Party 2-4 Aces in BB
The higher the limits the thinner the action. Saying anyone without the nut flush here folds is dumb.

Saying anyone without the nut flush here folds is dumb. [/ QUOTE ] Esp in this 400max party game. Esp with that price. But line is very good, anything except flushes fold and they arent likely to have it. Nice hand. C/r turn is cool but risky. (people love sets etc) - B |

Re: Party 2-4 Aces in BB
Is betting turn really that bad ? Now your river bet is much more convincing. You can expect to win a small pot uncontested on turn, and you can bluff on the river maybe 3 times out of 4 if you are called by only one player. The problem is you can get raised on turn, but it would not have been that expensive...
