but the problem I think lies on what to do if you catch one of your 2-way outs..........and it comes back multiple bets to you. Isn't this exactly the situations to avoid that make good omaha players good omaha players? [/ QUOTE ] EXACTAMUNDO................. |

No way to play on here -- even shorthanded against the most aggressive idiots -- correct? [/ QUOTE ]TMTTR - Sure would be tempting to fold. I'd certainly fold this in a full game against competent opponents. However, given your description of your opponents, and considering the cards you hold, I think you're actually the favorite here. But I don't know how you'd know that sitting at the table. (I thought you were surely behind after the flop and then again after the turn before I ran a couple of simulations that indicated otherwise). Buzz |

[censored] it, if you're gonna continue go ahead and cap it yourself. Just pretend you're cappelletti this hand.

Re: Another hand with crazy people (LO8)
What about betting the flop? It might be worth to a "feel" where you are at on the cheap street.
If everyone is playing crazy as you stated then you could be looking a a scoop!. |

Re: Another hand with crazy people (LO8)
I doubt I could fold this when I have the very off chance of scooping in a huge pot and a bazillion outs to made hands that are not the nuts, especially against your line-up of retardos.

[/ QUOTE ] So lets assume it is called around on the turn and consider a couple of hypotheticals rivers (1) 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] You have non-nut high and low -- do you bet out? do you check-call? If you check, can you cold-call two bets? If you bet out, do you fold if raised? what if it comes back to you for two more bets? There are so many combinations that beat you in every direction... Same questions (but slightly less complicated) for: (2) K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3) Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4) J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] |
