if it's so easy why don't you organize it, yes it would attract bigger players etc and we could make a much larger buyin. But I tried for this one to raise the stakes a lot higher and no one wanted to.

Yeah I was just being sarcastic because 75% of the sweat threads for my team have come from UB.

Well, I know I will never do a Stars-only challenge again. I would definitely be interested in a multi-site challenge though.

I don't see how it would be that hard, but am obviously not up for figuring it all out. Given P5's new PLB and thepokerdb I would think it would be relatively easy to devise something.

Doing it on Stars-only reward those able to sit and grind 20/180s for 15 hours a day way too heavily, IMHO. If I had known what I was getting into, I never would have done it.

I think a MTT challenge across all sites would be a great idea

Also, for a mini challenge, I know Jeff was in a "UB 109 League."

Basically they had teams of 2 play the nightly UB 109s for a week or something with a scoring system. I dunno, might be a cool idea for a lil mini challenge.

ucla just something I've noticed so far is the new structure has killed the amount of 180s going each day. Don't know if its just an early flux and things will go back to normal or not.

LOL. This is the only sweat thread I've ever read where someone announces they're at a FT at the start, and then no one mentions it ever again.

How'd you do, Paul?

Well I didn't bring it up because 8th sucks for $1.2k.

I don't think I played a hand until the last hand. Totally card dead, no way to steal blinds with the guys I had on my left, and no good resteal opportunities presented themselves.

So, I stayed patient until I had 11 BBs. Folds to CO who is a very loose/aggressive player, both pre- and post-flop, who puts in a standard raise (and he has me covered by a long shot). Folds to me in the BB. I have J7s.

My first thought is stop-n-go, but then I remembered he would rarely fold here. Before the FT he payed off 3 streets of my leading bets on a board of AKxxx with me holding AK and him holidng A5.

I don't like a shove because I have no FE. So, I decide to get creative. I call, with the plan to check/call (he will shove postflop any two if I check the flop) if I hit any piece of the flop and check/fold if I miss it entirely. Flop comes K7x-r, I check, he shoves, I call.

Thoughts?

I was there and really didn't like that play ucla. It wasn't a standard raise, usually he had been making it 3xish amounts and this time he potted it preflop, before it got to you I thought there's now way you would try to resteal bc potting it preflop when someone usually 3x's is almost always a good hand. Even if you stop n go, most of the hands he's potting with are gonna call you're push. I was extremely surprised to see you turn up J7s and completely unsurprised to see what he turned up. Then again I suck and donked out in 3rd.

Yes, you should consider quitting this poker thing, it's obviously not for you.
