Re: From yesterday\'s Sunday Millions
"no comments on preflop" lmao, this 2p2 must love it when players perceive them as tight and still call with trash like QTs.
Flop - I don't think its too bad if you think he's the type to peel one off with AK or AJ or 99, doesn't seem like a "tight" player would though. I'd just call and reeval, hopefully pick up outs but I guess you committed yourself to top pair when you played this hand from the get-go though. |

Re: From yesterday\'s Sunday Millions
Ok, I was the random 2+2er in the hand .
My hand is QJo for those wondering. On the flop I was thinking about repushing but thought that would kill of my action from hands I want to stay in and the only real draw I was worried about was KTs or 9Ts, which I didn't think were minraising on the flop. When it was minraised I actually put him on KQ, KJ, AJ, 55 or just a random bluff trying to pick up the pot if I was cbetting with a missed hand. My plan on the turn was to check raise the turn (check-call if he pushed). The ace (or a king)was the last card I wanted to peel off there. When I checked Scott insta pushed which really felt like a bluff so even with the ace on the turn it made for a fairly easy call. For Scott, after the preflop call, on the flop I would have just called as it allows you to see where you're at better. As it plays out if you just call, when the A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] comes off a shove on the turn then gets a fold from me as KT got there on the draw and AJ is now beating me. Also, I have to figure if you're betting even after the ace comes off which might have hit me then I'm beat. Another line would be call the flop, check behind me on the turn and look to hit one of your 12 outs that you've picked up. |

Re: From yesterday\'s Sunday Millions
Thanks, BP.. yeah I'm working on when to raise (or minraise) the flop - this is the opposite of a hand a few weeks ago, where I had JJ, flopped top set on a no-draw board, and just called the flop instead of raising (or min-raising) ..... part of my learning process I s'pose...
Surprising to hear you would have folded the turn - although I guess I was pretty surprised you called so fast when I jammed.... |

Re: From yesterday\'s Sunday Millions
Pf I'd much rather 3bet than call and in fact I think against a laggy villain 3betting can be very good here. As for the flop call or jam and the turn I check behind outside of kq he's never folding worse here.
