Enron. Worldcom.

These are cases of defrauding shareholders, not of disappearing with customers' money.

Enron. Worldcom. Publically traded companies steal and go bust fairly often, actually. Don't kid yourself that there is no risk.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah that's 2 of how many publically traded companies? Also, they misled investors, none of them stole from their customers. Anyway, I wouldn't say no risk, as using words like never is dumb. However, I feel like my money in Neteller is as safe as my BoA accounts or my Schwab investment accounts, and I have never read/seen/experienced anything that would make me feel otherwise.

Why would a bank refuse to accept a transfer from Neteller? The law doesn't say anything about withdrawals. Just deposits.

Why should I not be afraid?

You should panic.

That always seems to help.

"'m not worried about neteller itself BUT i'm worried about the bank blocking neteller.shocked more people aren't worried about the bank blocking neteller."

Then you put it in a poker site and have them issue you a paper check. problem solved.

I really don't see the US blocking deposits from Neteller. They just don't want money going out of the country.

Or, much easier, you have Neteller issue you a check. Banks aren't tracking where the check comes from.
