with Phil Hellmuth, I dont know if tilt effects his game, i mean he's a professional player, and yes even pros go on tilt but if he went on tilt everytime he opened his mouth he wouldn't be a winning player. He probably thinks that he can actually outplay the guy and is willing to risk it also the image that he might be on tilt could confuse his opponents.

So wait a sec here... A poker player challenged one of his opponents to play him heads up for bigger stakes? Sounds a little far-fetched to me.

WeToddDid: please you know you wouldn't play with 40k
WeToddDid: you buy in for the min

[/ QUOTE ]

This is freaking great right here...Yeah, PH can't afford to play for 40k. Good call WeToddId!

On a related note, I get the impression that PH buys in for the minimum and works it up because he sees it as more of a "challenge", i.e. he's so much better than everyone that starting max is boring so he starts min. Just the impression I get...

Yeah, we should give him some sort of derogatory nickname to reflect that...I dunno, maybe we could all start calling him the Brat, or Brat-Who-Plays-Poker or something.
