Re: if you\'re 21 or younger, post your current net cash assets

is it high or low? i had a summer job. only source of income. [/ QUOTE ] Before I graduated and got a real job and before poker, I never broke 5K in my bank account. And I had more money than most of my friends because I made $11/hr instead of 7, and I didn't buy weed. So I'm not sure what he's saying. |

Re: if you\'re 21 or younger, post your current net cash assets
25 or 30k, and I'm 20. Started poker last september, never really had more than 5k in the bank back then, + car loan etc... But I was blessed to have one of those move up/"run insanely hot for 50k hands" scenarios, and that really changed things around for me. Gave me a nice chunk of change to allow myself to quit work and pursue poker full-time until this September when i will be starting my Post-Secondary education. I also worked a job at a mill for 23$/hour (12hours shifts) fresh out of highschool so that obviously gave me a nice start in the real world.
Really though, if it wasn't for the time i deposited 100$ into paradise poker and told myself i was going to give myself one more chance at becoming a winner, i would still have very little. Writing this kinda reminds me why i should still love Poker.. Even though its killin' me right now :P EDIT:: It looks alot prettier than it is though. I think I will most likely be paying myself all through college/university... I'm not the type to ask my parents for assistance, especially when I've developed an earning potential which should get me through the next few years on my own. |

[/ QUOTE ] I thought it might be high, at first I was thinking early October, but he has to be reasonably smart to be even a decent enough player to sit in those games, if not completely naive about proper bankrolls. I figured he'd be smart enough to move down once he drops 8 buy ins or something. |
