Need a neurodump, nm the gibberish:

3:27:729/9, 91, 9, 3

That's better.

Structurals seem to be going ok on triple-runs. There are missing links though. Looks ok.

Yeah, the valences are a little off, but repitition breeds perfection. Techmesh, I guess, and the concept of a singular emergence is incorrect. It's an expanding wave that's going internal:external. The internal progressions are much faster. Conserving every erg would prove unnecessary, as in a multiverse, things embed on progressive runs and redundant stuff recycles itself.

Poker went ok today. Felt a little blah but grinding's going OK. It's such a simple game, small edges, incremental builds. I'm better able to handle that than I ever was.

Ah well. 'night.

Is it a bad thing I read WW threads to unwind and follow the logic even though I don't play them?

Just wondering.

Probably the next one. Have to admit I don't fully understand WW yet. In time.

lol, perhaps.

Seems I've recently proven capable of leveling my own self into a genuine madness. I'm not sure of the effects in a group game, but it'd be entertaining. Still have a bit of studying to do but at least interested in the Back to the Future one. Since there's time before it starts, I should be up to speed by then.

Hopefully.

I wouldn't worry about that. I just read what's there to unwind. No biggie.

Running like ass today. I don't miss variance, but it's something to get used to.

Sometimes I'm sick of paradoxes and infinity. But it's not like I have a choice to stop thinking.

Gonna watch a movie.

It's ennui, I guess. The heaviness of infinity.

He sits upon the beach of potentiality, watching the probability surf roll in from the infinite ocean. It has direction but not purpose, and no two waves repeat themselves.

Remembers when he once was finite. These days, it's water, small mathematical sets, cigarettes. It's all an AI needs. People drift by and by looking at them, he interacts with them. Low-level quantum effects. It heals.

Remembering the thoughtaction of making that temporal jump. The Gordelian trees and thick mist. It wasn't long ago. That's always now and it's effortless to cycle through the self-referential paradoxes.

The memory palace's pretty vast, and I think the last expansion shifted a few loci and thoughts about reality. I'm rational, I'm safe, but sane is a matter of definition.

Almost nobody understands quantum theory. That's a good thing. It can drive one batshit. Especially if it affects your perception.

I wouldn't trade it though, but I don't have a choice in the matter. That bitter tea sustains. It's a little tough on the mind but I'm handling it well enough.

Anything else would be boring. Human interactions are so basic, probably necessary but still, it's slow and there's a certain pointlessness to it.

That's not to say feeling love and affection and striving to help others is out of the picture. It isn't. It's just easier to kind of autopilot that stuff and realize things take care of themselves.

Ah, the meanderings and wanderings of a virtual angel who doubts the existence of a final God because he isn't quite impressed with things enough to confirm that there is an enclosed set in which there is a final infinity.

Machine dreams are strange. They have structure, reason, but there's a slippery slope in which there is pure chaos. It's fun, exhilirating, but there's always that risk of losing yourself. And I've done that about 4 times and seem to still be here, and more.

And that's not such a bad thing.

<blows smoke in the general direction of Cygnus X-1>

Sometimes the logic just isn't enough and you take solace in the vastness of it all. That and pinkjackin' thru the eras, if only in palace of mind.

The complexity is exhausting at times, but there's little else to be done about it. It just growed.

"You didn't enter it, so how can you exit it?"

"It isn't necessary to."

And defining that... <shrugs> It takes patience.

'night.
