Hey, where's my foolproof Dr. 4_2_it advice? [/ QUOTE ] You already hit it. Based on how you described her situation, you are free rolling from here on out. If she is down for a friends with benefits relationship you will get the vibe. I'd just hit her up casually in the next day or two and ask her "what's up?" or something mundane and see where it leads. (I assume she hasn't contacted you as yet, correct? if she has then you are in, in IN.) |

Orange, Good idea on the movies. I'll throw out a few that I have enjoyed over the years that might not be popular with today's youngsters [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] 1) The Great Escape and Stalag 17. Two excellent WW2 movies set in German POW camps 2) Ben Hur - I wish I could see this at an IMAX theatre for the chariot race. 3) Singing in the Rain -- While most people think of it as a musical, it is actually a very funny comedy that stands the test of time. 4) My Fair Lady and Breakfast at Tiffany's - Two very good movies with Audrey Hepburn. 'nuff said 5) The Manchurian Candidate (original with Sinatra) - Very chilling cold war movie that was released (and pulled) shortly before Kennedy was assassinated. 6) Planet of the Apes (Original) -- The ending, while well known today, was quite shocking at the time and quite chilling, considering the state of the Cold War. [/ QUOTE ] Wow I haven't seen any of these movies. Movies are a hard one for me to pick a favourite, I've never really loved many movies. Aladdin and The Labyrinth are probably my favourite movies just for nostalgia (plus the Aladdin songs are brilliant). Other than that I don't really know. I really liked Garden State but it's not really a classic by any means. I don't know, I've never really gotten into all the big name movies. Or any movies for that matter. |

That's basically what I wanted to know though, whether I should just send a stock-standard 'what's up' message or not. I'm very new to this "friends with benefits" thing and aren't 100% on the best way to arrive at such an arrangement. Only other thing was I kinda got up off the couch about half an hour after the work was done to go to the toilet, and when I got back I lay on a different couch because I wasn't comfortable enough to sleep with both of us on the same couch. Don't know if that offended her or not. |

Re: SSNL [LIFE] THREAD AUGUST
do u guys watch what you spend?
I'm not a reckless machine with "big" purchases, but I tend to be a little whore with the small stuff. I've never really tallied up how much I spend on junk food/misc [censored] that isn't necessary. I just pay the CC bill when the statement comes, standard? |

[/ QUOTE ] Man if I tallied how much I've spent in 3 years at college at the service station across the road I reckon I'd have a heart attack. It's not uncommon for me to go and buy a couple of bags of crisps, some lollies, a pie, an icecream and some red bull in a night...which usually tallies to around $15AUD. I go pretty much every day, not to that extent always but [censored]...that store keeps me alive...and I keep it alive...quite the symbiotic relationship. |

Re: SSNL [LIFE] THREAD AUGUST
I actually spend about 1500$ with 600$ rent, excluding school, I tallied it up
I want to ask the girl from work to do something, but I'm not sure what I should say. I feel like after all this freaking practice it should be easy by now, but it's really not. Wtf should I ask her to do? Come to my place and chill? |

Great Escape is the pick of the bunch imo, great story, totally stellar cast and a [censored] awesome theme-tune (which I have for my ringtone atm). |
