The equity mistakes that decent players make are very, very small. 2) A $500 SNG charges 30 times more rake (ie, $500 + $30) than a $10 SNG (ie, $10 + 1). By comparison, a $25/$50 NL game charges only marginally more rake per hand than $2/4. 1+2 = not much opportunity for profit. Incidentally, #2 is why the leaders to SuperNova Elite are high volume tournament players - they pay far, far, far, more rake than an equivalent cash game player. |
