No parachute skydiving prop bet?
I remember someone mentioning high numbers for a prop bet with the stipulations of skydiving without a parachute but being able to hold on to a second skydiver who does have a chute. not tied into the person with a chute, just being able to physically hold on to them....thoughts?

Re: No parachute skydiving prop bet?
I saw a video where a guy did this holding onto a parachute strap back in the day. It was probably fake or something because I don't think its possible to hold on when it comes out.

Re: No parachute skydiving prop bet?
I'm sure you could hold on pretty easily if you just ran your arms through the straps.

Re: No parachute skydiving prop bet?
Both jumpers with out a chute to start the jump, one ready to go between them held between them as they jump. Both jumpers should be semi naked, boxer shorts and shoes. Both having had a full body baby oil rub down. Jump should be during the day, "Holder on jumper" can not put his arms or hands above or around the neck of the jumpe with the chute. Surprised the thread even got to 6 pages with out this kind of correction. [LOTS OF LAW OFFICALS READING THIS THREAD :-) ] Go... |

He is wearing a harness underneath his clothes and there is a lanyard coming out one of his sleeves that connects him to the rig. I think a terminal Mr. Bill is possible. If you could get your arms underneath the main lift web of your partner's harness, I think you could hang on. Hopefully it would not break your arms. I was once caught on my way to the plane with my chest strap misrouted and had dreams for months afterward about trying to do this. |
