That place looks alright. The furniture and everything seems to be high quality.
Personally I dont like that area. I stayed there for 3 weeks when I was first in Thailand becuase its fun but after a while I felt like I needed to be away from the super high touristy areas. I paid 25,000 baht for a 1 bedroom in Bangkok and I felt like a baller. I was on the 25th floor and my window was a great up close view of downtown business district. I was in a more 'hi-so' area and there were tons of nice restaurants and places to chill. Looking out my other widow I got to watch the horse races for free every sunday. Damn, I miss my Bangkok life. You find the best deals by just wandering around town. So maybe you stay in a hotel for a few weeks and then have a look and see what you can find. A few weeks will also be enough for you to decide what area you want to live in. |
