It had nothing to do with the thread. I thought he was trying to start that bbv v. oot crap based on what I perceived to be the tone of his post. gild said he wasn't like that and it was just meant in good fun so I then unbanned him.

the saddest part of that whole thing was when all of the fabulous work which incorporated the snakes on a ____ thread had to be deleted. there really was brilliantly funny stuff that got lost
