Default A-4 History.

Villain is an aggressive button raiser, and i made a stand preflop with a mediocre hand, it is what it is, let it rest. You can rip apart the raise size if you want but the decision is done. However, i hate how i played the rest this hand. In fact i abhor it.

Recent history, villian and i have been going at it, very aggro with each other, betting and rasing into each others pfr's and raising continutation bets. Nothing nasty, just good agressive play. Villian is also a 50/25/3 after only 50 hands.

I'm not a fan of pf, flops good, turn is where it gets weird. I'd put him on a range and decide whether its worth continuing with the hand, my guess is that it is, then decide where the fold equity lies between leading and cr ai. I would have probably played it exactly the same (aside from pf) unless I think he will raise the turn a lot.

I like $40 to $45 preflop.

1/2 pot the flop, if he raises, push, if he calls, checkraise all in on the turn.

i don't think you ever make that turn bet with an overpair.

Most of times I get involved / "make moves" against a hypo-aggro player with a marginal holding I get stacked or lose a substantial amount. Being OOP against this player doesn't help much either.

I def. check the turn because I don't want him doing what he did (ai) when I have a good draw and can crack his a*ss.
